UW RA T1 - Why not use dp over pcons?
I have a question about the Wastes Terra (T1) role for R/A
In PVX, their skills are listed as:
Shroud of Shadow
Shadow Form
Mental Block
Dwarven Stability
Whirling Defense
By Ural's Hammer
Heart of Shadow
Death's Charge
However, is it possible for the ranger stubstitue one of the skills such as Heart of Shadow for Deadly Paradox so there wont be a need for pcons.
Im also thinking to remove buh for storm chaser and get 6 pts into wilderness survival for +3e regen on hit to accomodate for the greater energy need and i feel buh isnt as needed with high enough delver rank anyways.
I havent tried in UW but I have tried a modified build with storm chaser and deadly paradox and see if i could maintain sf in HM on other mobs of long ranged spellcasters with no problems
I wanted to try a modified build but cant get to wastes because the build cant clear chamber and of course no pug will take me and im also a UW noob but is there a major flaw in my logic that im not considering?

It would be a huge pain in the butt and extremely harsh on energy. Secondly, Whirling has a sixty second downtime. (well, 60 minus whatever the BU shaves off) so you would not only be really slow, but also out of energy. When you run the 12+1+1+1, you will will have no energy problems at all, and nearly be able to keep Whirling up indefinitely, whereas with Stormchaser and/or Deadly Paradox, you'd be juggling a ton of stances and at the same time be losing a Ton of energy.
tl;dr:
personal cons may seem expensive and alot of trouble, but quite frankly, you absolutely need them if you are going to do any R/A Terra-ing.

60 second downtime but with max delver rank /w dwarven stability WD lasts for 42 seconds. Expertise at 11+3+1+1 ~21 sec x 2 = 42 seconds
Also storm chaser eliminates energy needs because the recharge is low enough that storm chaser will be ready or almost ready after using DP+SF everytime, thus energy pool will go back to max.
I have already tried it out and confirmed it to be maintainable on regualar spellcasters in HM and I never encounter energy issues quite the contrary my energy pool was full most of the time, I just dont have an oppertunity to test this out in UW because I cant clear chambers on my own.
I personally have never tried UW T1 as R/A so I wanted to know if there were any major significance of the skills i replaced that were vital to the efficiency of the original pvx build

Just take 3 heroes in to clear chamber. or even easier, take a friend and 6 heroes.
